The Client

Brothers David and Daniel Filice founded Arch10 in 2010. Between them, they brought over 150 delivered residential projects and two decades of major infrastructure work across Australia and the Middle East.

That depth of experience shaped the business. Clients come to Arch10 for one thing above all: genuine clarity over complex builds, from first sketch to handover.

Year on year, that reputation brought bigger, more technically demanding projects through the door. More scale meant more moving parts – more drawings, more approvals, more people needing the same information at once.

By the time Arch10 had a growing portfolio of high-end residential and commercial work under its belt, the business faced a familiar problem for firms scaling fast: the systems that once worked well enough were starting to hold the team back rather than support it.

The Challenge

Growth exposed the cracks in Arch10’s older systems. Project information was split across too many places at once:

  • Spreadsheets that only one person kept updated
  • Emails and messages holding decisions no one else could see
  • Legacy software site teams avoided using altogether

The result wasn’t just inefficiency. Chasing updates and manually checking drawing revisions ate into hours the team could have spent delivering. For a builder whose reputation rests on transparency, that gap was a genuine risk to timelines and trust.

Arch10 had the pipeline, the confidence and the projects to keep growing. What it lacked was a system built for that scale – something that could hold every drawing, decision and update in one place, accessible to whoever needed it, whenever they needed it.

There’s a real cost to that kind of fragmentation, too. Every hour spent tracking down a document or chasing a sign-off is an hour not spent moving a project forward – and on complex, high-value builds, that adds up fast.

The Solution

A staged rollout, not a disruption.

New projects moved onto Procore from day one. Existing jobs stayed on the old system until they wrapped naturally – no forced, all-at-once switch.

The right person, the right time.

Operations Manager Lesley Pritchard joined Arch10 with hands-on Procore experience already in hand, giving the rollout an internal champion from day one.

PhaseWhat Changed
Drawings & revisionsCentralised repository, version comparison built in
Site recordsDiaries, photos and approvals in one place
WorkflowsClear ownership assigned at every step
Client accessReal-time visibility without extra site visits

Rolling the platform out gradually mattered as much as the platform itself. Rather than overhaul everything overnight, the team introduced new features as confidence grew, backed by clear communication and leadership buy-in from day one.

The Results

commercial development builder
One example tells the story. A single small residential job had previously generated 41 separate drawing revisions, tracked by memory and guesswork.

On Procore, the current version is always obvious:

BeforeAfter
Revisions tracked manually, version confusion commonVersions compared instantly, always current
Change events chased across people and platformsOwnership visible at every stage
Site photos gathered ad hoc for distant clientsReal-time access, no extra site visits needed
Information scattered across systemsOne dashboard, one source of truth

Clients now get real-time access to progress, including an overseas client based in Dubai who checks in remotely rather than requesting additional site visits.

That foundation now supports Arch10’s more complex work, including the North Road development in Bentleigh East – eight high-end townhouses navigating a near five-year approvals process.

Projects at that scale don’t leave room for missed information. Shared visibility across drawings and workflows means fewer surprises later, and a clearer trail if a client or authority ever asks how a decision was made.

Just as importantly, the team now knows exactly who is responsible for what at any given stage. That clarity has taken pressure off site managers and office staff alike, freeing up time that used to go into follow-up calls and status checks.

In Their Words

“Having one central dashboard has been a game changer.”
– David Filice, Founder, Arch10

Looking Ahead

With stronger systems now in place, Arch10 is positioning itself for the next stage: consistently delivering projects in the $5-10 million range and beyond.

That ambition builds on the philosophy the Filice brothers set out with back in 2010 – a business built on the strongest possible foundations, ready to carry more weight as it grows.
