Designed and constructed over 12 months by Arch10 in 2013, this 45-square property combines the look of the 20th century with modern, eight-star efficiency principles. Its passive solar design is the first of its kind in Victoria, including thermally improved walls, high-performance glazing, and high thermal windows that don’t let heat in during summer and retain a warm house in winter. The feature ceiling, meanwhile, accentuates the linearity of the design. With the entry hallway and all downstairs rooms boasting a view to the outdoor pool and alfresco area, this is an oasis-like family home.
