What is the current expected wait time to get started on a build?

Start time on-site usually depends on a number of factors linked to regulatory items such as the building permit or other authority approvals. Normally from the signing of contracts, It usually takes six to eight weeks before works commence.

What type of contracts do you utilise?

The most common type of contract we use is a Master Builders New Homes Contract commonly referred to as a fixed lump sum, however as each project is different, we can accommodate most types of contracts.

Approximately how long will my new home build take?

Each project is unique. A project-specific programme will be produced for each project based on requirements. Usually, most projects are built within a 12-month timeframe, and more complex projects take more time.

Do you have selected contractors and suppliers you work with?

Our trades and supplier relationships are built on mutual trust and respect, with most having been with us for many years. And our goals are always aligned: to provide our customers the best result possible. We never consider the cheapest trade pricing as this almost certainly sacrifices quality and leads to project delays.

What if I want to make a change during the build, what’s the process?

We understand that sometimes things change – and we’re flexible and accommodating to your needs. Early communication and constant collaboration on areas of concern is key to ensuring the vision is captured. We work closely with you to understand what you want to achieve – for example, to make your space more functional. We then develop the solution along with the budget.

Can I purchase my own fittings, fixtures and appliances?

Yes, you have full flexibility to choose your own selections from your preferred suppliers. If you’re not sure where to go, we have relationships with custom suppliers around Melbourne who will be happy to help.

Arch10 proudly delivered this purpose-built childcare centre in Footscray, creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children, educators and families. The construction comprised four storeys of post-tensioned concrete floor slabs, together with a basement car park.

Arch10 was involved from beginning to end, assisting the client from the early design stages through construction and final handover. This end-to-end approach provided a seamless transition from initial concept through to project completion.

The finished development combines practical learning spaces with durable, high-quality finishes and a bright, contemporary design. Every element was carefully considered to support daily functionality, encourage exploration and provide a comfortable environment where children can learn, play and grow.
